The terms for using PetEats as an informational pet food ingredient screening tool.

Acceptance
By using PetEats, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use PetEats.
What PetEats Provides
PetEats provides informational screening of pet food ingredients for dogs and cats using barcode lookup, ingredient label OCR, ingredient matching, and automated analysis.
Not Veterinary Advice
PetEats is not veterinary advice, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for a veterinarian. Always consult a qualified veterinarian before changing your pet's diet or treating health concerns.
Accuracy Limitations
PetEats may be wrong or incomplete. Ingredient labels can be blurry, outdated, regional, mistranslated, or hard to parse. Barcode databases may contain outdated or user-submitted information.
Product Names and Trademarks
Product names, brand names, UPCs, packaging details, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. PetEats uses them only to identify products and does not claim endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship by any brand.
Product Ratings and Corrections
PetEats scores describe ingredient flags found by the service, not a definitive statement about a company or product. Community or automated product data may be unverified. To request a correction, email [email protected] with the UPC and clear label photos.
User Responsibilities
Use PetEats only for lawful purposes, upload only images you have the right to use, avoid uploading sensitive personal information, review results critically, and keep your device and account access secure.
Subscriptions and Purchases
If subscriptions are enabled, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Renewal, cancellation, and refund rules are governed by Apple and the purchase screen shown at checkout.
Free Scan Limits, Ads, and Promo Codes
PetEats may limit free scans, offer rewarded ads or promo codes, and change eligibility rules over time.
Account Deletion
You may delete your PetEats device account in Settings, subject to backups, security logs, legal obligations, and technical limitations.
